Growing Up
OK, so the #1 thing you should know about me if you’re choosing to follow my blog is THANK YOU I LOVE YOU ….. and that I will refer to Tyson Ritter, frontman of The All-American Rejects probably in more posts than I am willing to admit. I won’t go on for paragraphs over my awe of this man, but I may quote him or a song by The All-American Rejects as a title to a post. I lovelovelove this quote more than anything else Tyson has ever said because when I was lost in my life, he found me. Their music lifted me up when I was ready to just stay down. I was completely ready to give up on my life. I was a huge fan of AAR before this point; I owned all of their CDs to date. However, their music became like therapy to me when I got to Middle School. Move Along will always be my favorite song/album. When I have a day that is just too stressful or makes me want to cry, I put in my earphones and blast that song on repeat until I feel calm. I will even sing along if it’s bad enough.
The All-American Rejects are my way of coping with a lot of things. I’m sure throughout my blog, I will open up about my rough past. Just know that AAR will be my rock with those essay-length posts.
And if you have a favorite band that you love with all of your heart, LOVE THEM PROUDLY. Don’t ever let anyone who wants to be that jerk and make fun of you or call you names/label you because of your favorite artist/song get you down. They aren’t even worth it. You go and you dance and sing along and be who you are. Every type of music is absolutely beautiful in its own way..just like people are.
Just like you are. Stay Beautiful. :*
